佛教故事传说，观音菩萨常捧着一个白玉瓶，净瓶中的甘露可消灾祛病。把泡好的茶敬奉给客人，我们称之为观音捧玉瓶，意在祝福好人一生平安。

As Buddhist legend  would have it, Mother Buddha, named Guanyin,the Goddess of Mercy, is always seen holding a white jade flask that contains holy dew that would cure all diseases. When we serve the tea we have made to our guests in teacups, we call it, “Guanyin holds the jade flask", wishing you healthy and happiness.
