Three dragons protecting the vessel

这是持杯的手势。三个手指喻为“三龙”，茶杯如鼎，故名“三龙护鼎”，这样持杯既稳又雅观。

This is the way to hold the teacup. The three fingers holding the cup are regarded as "three dragons" and the teacup is viewed as a vessel, hence the name. This way of holding cup is firm as well as graceful.
