Tasting the scent with heart
在第二道茶中,大红袍的本香已完全显露了出来,大红袍的香包含了真香、兰香、清香和纯香。表里如一,曰纯香;采撷适时,曰清香;火候停均,曰兰香;雨前神具,曰真香。大红袍的香气沁人心脾,怡情悦志。乾隆皇帝闻茶香时,觉得如“古梅对我吹幽芬”。我们也只有带着丰富而浪漫的想象力,才能感受到大红袍的“心香”。
During the second round of the tea, the original aroma of the Big Red Robe has come out fully, they are true scent, orchid scent, fresh scent, and pure scent. By pure scent, we mean the tea tastes as it smells; by fresh scent, we mean the right time for plucking the tea leaves; by orchid scent, we mean the perfect handling of the tea in hot-water; and by true scent, we mean the right season for picking tea leaves . The scent of the tea runs through our hearts and body, soothes our moods and relaxes our minds. When sniffing the tea, Emperor Qianlong felt as if"old plum flower perfumes me with its faint scent." Likewise, we need much romantic imagination to experience the "heart arome" of Big Robe.
