大红袍冲泡后的叶底肥厚柔软有丝绸光泽，最奇特的是叶底的周边呈暗红色，中间呈绿色，这称之为“绿叶红镶边”。因为茶叶在小茶杯中晃动，好像是龙在游水，所以我们把这道程序称之为“游龙戏水”。
